Window Tinting

Usually, the sun emerging from the clouds is a good thing. Getting into your car when that happens is another story. Regardless of the colour of your vehicle, the hot summer sun can quickly turn your car into an oven! There is something you can do to help prevent your car from getting to that point – getting your windows tinted.

Studies have shown that getting your windows tinted can keep your car up to 60% cooler. This results in a few benefits. When your car is at a cooler temperature, your air conditioning doesn’t have to work as hard, keeping it in good condition and saves you fuel. As well as keeping your car in good shape, you are also saving yourself some gas money here and there!

There are other things other than just the heat that is being protected. Window tints can block UVA and UVB rays from pouring into your car, saving your skin from these damaging rays.  Besides your skin, UVA and UVB rays can also make the leather and other fabrics in your vehicle start to diminish and look bad. Tinting can absolutely help keep the interior of your vehicle looking new for a longer period of time.

Window tint can actually make your car a little bit safer. The film that is applied to the windows when they are tinted can assist with keeping the glass together in the event of a collision, making sure pieces of glass don’t make there way either inside or outside the car. In addition to all of this, window tinting looks pretty awesome!
